In need of a mechanic that will just fix what's wrong and not rake me over the coals. Not assuming anything just moved here from Iowa a few years ago and don't know who to trust. I have a 99 Toyota solara that is reading a P0303 check engine code. Problem with the third cylinder misfiring. Been that way for a week, waiting till i get paid today barely made it home from LA last night and now it won't stay running. I went to O'Reilly's as they said it should be easy to replace the spark plug and ignition connector. Only thing is it's I the third cylinder under the manifold. I still don't know why they gave me the part as it doesn't even use one like there one they have me on the rear bank. I tried a tutorial and i think i could get to it but afraid to remove something and have it break.
Anyone knows anyone that can help i would much appreciate it. If someone knows cars and would be willing to take a look at it, i am a private Chef in LA and if you can fix it i would be willing to cook dinner in your home next Sunday as it's my next day off. Otherwise will take a good recommendation of a fair honest mechanic.
Thank you in advance!
