  Best place to view the race, apart from the finish lie between 10 pm and midnight, is by the Lake Placid Pub & Brewery. http://www.ubuale.com/ Located right by the lake, it is at a great spot for viewing both the bike and run (2X!) courses I think they have a race day special as well. Rich Barkan
