Hi! I’m looking for a doctor that can handle a knee injury. Do you have someone you like? I’d prefer to go directly to them and not have to go to a primary doctor first. Thanks!

Dr Brady Giesler, Orthopedic Associates, Flower Mound 972/420-1776. Extremely knowledgeable, kind and conservative in his treatment options. He doesn't rush you right to surgery as a first option. He has treated both my husband and daughter with excellent outcome for each of them.

Dr. Brady Geisler at Orthopedic Associates did my surgery Rebecca.
Louie A. replied:

Does anyone have a recommendation for on orthopedic dr good with feet? I had heel bone spur surgery and tendon repair 4 years ago and just now running again for the past year...up to 5 miles for long run now and seeing slight swelling in that area. I want to keep running (actually have my sights on a half marathon...realizing my marathon days are over but hoping for a half) and thought a sports doctor could help with what to do to be able to keep running.
Brenda J. replied:
Dr. Willenberg at Orthopedics Associate 972 420 1776.

Have any of you fine folks had to have Arthroscopy knee surgery to fix a torn meniscus and clean up cartilage debris with Dr. Evanich at Orthopedics Associates. I found him from this page but I want to know your experience with this type of surgery with him, please. Do you think I need a second opinion?

My husband tore his ACL and Dr Heereagen at Orthopedic Associates did his surgery. I can't say enough good things about him and the whole experience!
Jane R. replied:
Always always always get a second opinion!!! I've had both good and bad at Orthopedic Associates (its a large practice) ... but both evanich and heerwgon seem to have good reputations. Dixon is awesome for hand surgery.
Looking for a good hand surgeon. I just found out the one I have, Dr K. Dickson, doesn't take my insurance. So unfortunately I have to find someone who takes TriCare Prime. Looking for referrals, I can call and check the ins. part. Thank you!

Dr. Cantrell at Orthopedic Associates has performed 3 of my surgeries. He even went as far as following up with me on his own time on the weekend when he was with his family!! The BEST doctor period. When you have that dream of what a Doctor should be, Jeffrey Cantrell is the one!!!
Looking for a good, local sports medicine doctor. Would prefer one who specializes in leg injuries. Thank you!

Looking for referrals in the FM area...
I injured my foot a while back, it recovered - or so I thought. Until that specific area starting giving me issues and has since caused discomfort in other areas of the same foot / ankle now. One area will heal then another area will hurt but always on the same foot. I'm finally ready again to start working out so I'm needing this foot to heal up :-).
I'm assuming my foot is trying to overcompensate for the old injury....
Any recommendations for doctor / facility to treat these types of injuries? I'm assuming a Sports / Medicine type of facility would be best? Thanks!
Brenda J. replied:
Orthopedic Associates, Dr. Willenborg fused my foot a few years ago, 972-420-1776. Great team of doctors, have their own MRI, PT center and now day surgery in one place.
