And as aforementioned, my family owns a ton of animals. Considering one works in the department you are thinking of, I can assure you he relocates when he can. He will not kill a healthy raccoon that hasn't posed a threat. If you want photographic evidence to prove the relocation, I can ask him to do that as well.
