rywe asked:Looking for recommendation for a trusted electrician as well as a consult to get some network cables run Does anyone know of a good electrician in the Springs area? Recent storm knocked out power for half the house and resetting breaker isn't helping. I'm also looking to get a consult on getting some Ethernet cables run in the house, likely Cat5e from first floor to a basement.
EpictetusCubed replied:I did quite a bit of research and got multiple quotes, and chose http://www.swartzelectric.biz/ for a pretty large project. They are a little more expensive than some others, but I felt the professionalism and the detail of the bid made it worth the difference, and I have been very happy with the work they did. I don't think they would be competitive for low-voltage work. Running Cat5 e or Cat6 is definitely worth it over alternatives in my experience.
