    Edited because the Shiretown Animal Hospital in Pictou is CLOSED...! The East River Animal Hospital (Terra Cotta Drive, NG) always has a vet on call for emergencies, the emergency/after hours number is (902) 752-6655. You WILL be charged an extra fee if you have to take the kitty in as an emergency call but if you need it, its worth it. They are my regular vet and I had to use the emergency service once for my dog and would always recommend Dr Kathryn Finlayson and the team for anything.
