It's been sitting for a year after the head gasket blew, has 200k on the current engine. It's a family treasure, I will never sell it, but I'm having a hard time finding a good mechanic/shop to take it for repair. I know of a place in Tucson, but would like to avoid towing it so far and it makes me nervous to be so far away from it for what will likely be a lengthy repair. Any recommendations for reliable mechanics in Phoenix, preferably someone with Toyota/22RE experience? Thanks!
