Cake Pricing
I specialize in custom cakes of all kinds. My cakes are not your average bakery, grocery store or discount warehouse club cakes. All of my work is hand-crafted and customized to your specific request. Each cake is baked fresh for your special order. Cakes are priced on a per cake basis.
Custom Cakes
Starting prices for cakes:
$3.50 per slice for buttercream frosting
$4.50 per slice for buttercream frosting covered with fondant
$5.00 per slice for 3D or sculpted cakes with buttercream frosting and fondant
Fillings other than buttercream and specialty flavors (listed above) are $.50 extra per slice
Each cake is a one-of-a-kind creation that is made to order. The final cost of your cake is determined by many factors including: serving size, cake flavor, amount of tiers, fillings, complexity of design and whether fondant and/or gumpaste is used and how much is used.
All of my fondant covered cakes have delicious, smooth and creamy buttercream frosting in between the layers and around the cake before the fondant is rolled onto the cake. Additional charges on cakes and cupcakes may apply for specialty flavors or fillings, cake sculpting, complex buttercream designs, detailed piping and painting, gumpaste decorations (figures, toppers, etc.), fondant details and other time consuming elements.
Please keep in mind the amount of time it takes to design, research aspects of the cake (researching types of fish, shoes, etc. that the cake may be modeled after), bake, assemble and decorate your cake.
To make your cake look as wonderful as it tastes is an extremely time consuming process and is factored into the final price of your cake…BUT, the “wow factor” is... show more worth it!
Cupcakes
Regular sized cupcakes with buttercream frosting (includes sprinkles and sanding sugars)
Minimum order is two dozen (24) cupcakes
Regular sized cupcakes with buttercream frosting and fondant decorative topping
Minimum order is two dozen (24) cupcakes and fondant toppers start at $1.00/each (price determined by details of topper)
**Additional charges apply for multiple flavors in one order, custom flavors, complex or custom designs, etc. See “cakes” above.
Terms and Conditions
Payment Agreement: An order will only be confirmed upon payment of the deposit due; all event orders require a minimum of 50% down payment of the full total due upon order placement in order to reserve your date. Down payments are used to align resources to meet order requirements and are non-refundable. Order balances are due no later than two weeks prior to the event
Cancellations:
All requests for cancellation must be made in writing, kindly give 48 hours’ notice for cancellation of orders. All down payment monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable to another date or order. Any monies paid beyond the initial retainer will be refunded, provided that no work has been completed on the order.
Outdoor Events and Weather:
Kissy’s Kreations is NOT responsible for any weather damage to products after the customer has taken possession. Kissy’s Kreations provides insight and guidelines to avoid adverse effects of various weather conditions as follows:
HEAT:
Buttercream/Whipped Cream/Cream Cheese frosting can melt and therefore are not recommended for outdoor events in temperatures exceeding 80 degrees (which are common in the months of May, June, August, September or October).
WIND:
Can push product over no matter how small or big. It may blow debris or bugs into your cupcakes and/or other desserts.
RAIN:
Rain can change or melt colors or product structure.
Allergies:
Kissy’s Kreations provides products to accommodate customer requests relative to specific food allergies. However, we are a facility that processes ALL varieties of nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, etc. and therefore does NOT take responsibility for any cross contamination that may occur. Please use your best judgment for your own safety from food products produced in facilities of this nature.
Pick-ups:
Kissy’s Kreations provides customer-pick-ups as requested and scheduled; customer-pick-ups will be available ON or AFTER the time specified on the order/agreement. EARLIER pick-ups are accommodated ONLY as agreed to prior to pick-up. Kissy’s Kreations is NOT responsible for damage to product(s) after they leave our facilities due to handling, storage, falling, weather exposure or other events. Once the customer accepts the product box from the premises, Kissy’s Kreations will NOT be liable for any occurrences that may happen thereafter.
To assist our customers in reducing the possibilities of damage to Kissy’s Kreations products once they have left our facilities we have developed the following guidelines based on our years of experience;
Handling NO NO'S:
Holding the product in your lap while driving; placing products on unleveled seats in a vehicle; leaving products unattended in a vehicle; keeping products in vehicles for extended periods of time; placing products in an over filled trunk; not leveling and securing the product in a vehicle properly before traveling; placing the product where other objects can fall on it; placing the product around small children or pets and animals; holding the cupcake box on the sides rather than the center of the bottom of the box, etc..
Delivery:
In order to provide our customers with timely and accurate delivery Kissy’s Kreations requires accurate addresses supported by maps to the location prior to delivery; this also allows for accurate delivery quotations so our customers don’t experience any unexpected costs. To insure customer satisfaction the customer or someone designated by the customer must be at the delivery location at the scheduled time of arrival to allow Kissy’s Kreations to complete the delivery. A contact phone number of the person(s) who has appropriate access to the facility must be provided at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery. If Kissy’s Kreations does not have access at the agreed time of arrival after 30 minutes the product will be returned to the Kissy’s Kreations location and will be available for customer pick-up. Additional fees will apply to additional delivery efforts.
Our products will be delivered to you in perfect condition and you will be asked to sign a delivery note to confirm this. Our products will arrive to you in strong boxes. As soon as the delivery driver has handed over the product to you, the product will be in full responsibility of the customer and will NOT hold Kissy’s Kreations liable for any occurrence that may happen thereafter.
Refunds:
The events surrounding a customer request for a refund will be evaluated by Kissy’s Kreations on a case by case basis and will be at the full discretion of Kissy’s Kreations as to what, if any, refunds will be awarded based on common industry practices. The 50% down payment is NON-refundable.
Once the down payment is received for an order it is considered the customer’s acceptance in acknowledgment and agreement of these Terms and Conditions.
