Details - In Ottawa or Ottawa Valley - Open in the winter/spring (March 27) - For both ceremony and reception - Instagram worthy [my add- my girlfriend in question is quite popular on the social media ;)] - "Relatively" budget-friendly (ie Chateau Laurier etc. would be out of range) - ETA - # of attendees hasn't been firmed up, but probably in the 70-120 range I'm guessing.   ATTN Admin: if this post isn't ok, please let me know. Hi Ladies, My partner and I have been trying for years to find that beautiful, special, low-budget wedding venue that's perfect for us. We want a small, intimate, wedding on the water at sunset next fall somewhere within an hour's drive of Ottawa. We are having difficulty finding a place that doesn't have a minimum requirement of 50 guests within our financial means. We are open to a quaint, clean restaurant with a private room for the reception. We've looked at so many options, but nothing feels like "the place" so far. We've even thought of a down south wedding, but unfortunately many of our family members cannot afford to attend. I so desperately want to wear my wedding dress, which has been hanging in our closet, and our rings which have sat in their boxes for over three years! We want OUR dream wedding. It shouldn't have to cost the down payment for a house. What happened to simpler times? Does anyone have any suggestions? Your ideas and experiences would be very helpful. Thank you!
