  Not sure if you are adamant of the term pediatrician, however my son sees a family practice physician who also specializes in pediatrics. My son has seen her since he was an infant and she has NEVER pushed vaccines on us. She's at Encompass Medical Cen ter right at 40 hwy and 291/I70. Her name is Gazal Shaikh (pronounced Shake) and the # is 816-356-5000. We tried Cockrell McIntosh to begin with and they also indicated they would refuse service if we did not follow their immunization guidelines...I'm sorry but that's my child - my choice!   Ok...I am looking for a good Internal Medicine doctor or MD. The doctor I had for the last 20+ years is a quack. My diabetes doctor said I have had diabetes for many years and my old doc must not have read my yearly blood work. I would like to have a doctor that cares about his patients and knows how to read test results. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

  I go to Encompass Medical off 40 hiway and 291. Her name is Ghazal Shaikh and she is awesome. She will take care of you with blood work every 3 months. Give them a call to see if she takes your insurance the phone # is 816-356-5000. Hope this will help you or at least is a start.
