  In search of a reliable and honest electrician. We moved into our house a month ago and came home yesterday to find several electronics won't turn on and the thermostat won't shut the a/c off. Thinking there might have been a power surge, but since we weren't here, we don't know if it's an issue with the house's electrical wiring or perhaps lightning that hit nearby.
