About us
The Novelty Cake co. was founded at the beginning of 2010.
Being the very proud God mother of two darling little nieces it is obvious to say that I needed to make all their birthday wishes come true by making birthday cakes come to life.
I come from an art background sculpting fairies and dragons as well as fine art painting printing and so forth. Making and decorating is a wonderful creative outlet as no two cakes are ever the same.
Baking
All are freshly baked the evening before your special event to ensure the cake is moist and delicious.
There are a variety of options available on order.
Decorating
No moulds are used, all figures and decorations are handmade insuring your cake is a once off creation.
All decorations are made from ether Fondant, modeling chocolate or a combination of both.
Modeling Chocolate
The Novelty Cake Co make our own, the decision is yours as what kind of chocolate you would like on your cake.. Basic cooking chocolate, Cadburys chocolate or Belgium chocolate.
White chocolate is used in order to mix the vivid colors.
Fondant Icing
Fondant icing is used to cover the cakes for that smooth finish.
Figures and decorations can also be sculpted but can limit the figurines with regards to size and height, and they are not quite as delicious as the chocolate option
The options are endless, we love to make your vision into a reality.
