Anyone have a recommendation for a barber for a haircut and a beard trim? I always wore a short beard pre-covid, but now I've got about six months of quarantine growth that is out of control. I'm looking for someone who can give the beard a nice trim, and perhaps give me some pointers on how to manage it when I need to integrate myself back into the outside world. I'm almost two weeks removed from my second covid vaccine, so I'm finally ready to start looking for a place. I live close to town, so I'm open to anything within a 15ish minute drive of downtown.

Old school barber shop in or around the area? Looking for an old school barber shop that does hot towel, beard trimming, etc. I used to hit up https://www.theqg.com/barbershop/ in Baltimore and haven’t found a place when I moved to Pittsburgh. Open to your suggestions.

This is actually a fairly frequent topic on the subreddit and I expect the thread to be downvoted. What is your area? How do you define old school? Old school can mean anything from a gruff old guy with a no nonsense attitude giving a $15 cut to an artfully decorated hipster lounge serving a shot of whiskey with your service. http://mistergroomingandgoods.com/ In lawrenceville. http://thehumblebarber.co/ in Brighton Heights. https://www.facebook.com/pg/DarkRootBarbersopPGH In allentown. https://www.reddit.com/r/pittsburgh/comments/9 arma3/recommended_pittsburgh_barbers/ is a thread yesterday about this same topic.
Looking for a Barber who knows Beards. I am new to Pittsburgh, and also new to beards. I'm guessing there are barbers out there who know their way around a beard as well as a good cut, so if you have any insight I'd appreciate it.
