  I've checked the search threads; I'm a newbie.... Does anyone know any good reputable makeup schools or classes to take in the Orlando to West Palm Beach, Florida region? I live in Vero Beach,FL (an 1 hour south of Orlando) I'm willing to travel. I've goggled tons of "schools", but all I found were mostly for cosmetology. I did find one in Orlando at Cara Studios that fit my working schedule for an evening 6 week course, but the tuition was like $2400. Is this reasonable? I'm trying to find out from experienced artists....what's the average cost to spend on a budget for school? Is school worth it or is it better to focus on hands on experience?
