Call a reputable company who sells carpet and see who they suggest. Having worked in the Service Dept of a flooring company, I would suggest not renting the "do it yourself machines" as they wreck carpet. Steam cleaning companies are good. Try calling the carpet cleaning section of Service Master. Good luck!
