Good Morning all. I'm afraid it's me again :)
Need to register with gp surgery here in Abingdon (due to recent move). Tried to google and find a bit more but there's to...
Charlotte G. replied:
Avoid the Malthouse. I've always found Marcham road good and I've heard fab things about Long Furlong also.
Clare A. replied:
I have Dr Mary Hughes at the Malthouse, lovely lady, we've moved to Chilton and I have to move mine to Didcot so I'm in the same boat just a different area, I was with Marcham Road for years and my husband is with Dr Tan there again lovely but it's up to you go and speak to them have a chat to the receptionist x
Lynette D. replied:
Abingdon Surgery is brilliant, way better than Marcham Rd (and that wasn't bad)
Claire W. replied:
Dr Tan at Marcham road is just great, he knows everything. I was there for about 40 years (lived in Steventon and North Abingdon) moved to Didcot 2 years ago and was sad to have to leave there.
Dawn M. replied:
The Abingdon Surgery in Stert Street is fabulous.
Sian G. replied:
Can't praise Dr Tan or Dr Pope enough at Marcham road.
Paul N. replied:
Dr Tan is great doctor
Claire L. replied:
Marcham Road is great especially Dr Nobes as she explains stuff in a non Dr way:-)
Nicola L. replied:
Easy parking at Abingdon Surgery
Irene G. replied:
Abingdon surgery Dr Salmon fantastic Dr does not rush you very polite and pleasant
Lisa W. replied:
I have been registered with The Marcham Road Health Centre since a child. The Doctors whom I recommend there would undoubtedly be Dr. Tan and Dr. Robertson. When my Father passed away in 2004 at the Abingdon Hospital Dr.Tan was so understanding and compassionate Joanna . I could not have wished for a better Doctor at that difficult time, and I was so relieved that Dr. Tan was the one who pronounced my Fathers death. x
Claire W. replied:
I remember when Dr Tan first came to Marcham Road, I was impressed by his wearing of a bow-tie and his use of a fountain pen, don't think he does either now but he is an excellent GP.
Penny L. replied:
Some of my clients have Dr Salmon at the Abingdon Surgery, he's very open minded and supports their decisions in having complimentery therapies, unlike some other doctors.
Steve C. replied:
Stert street, Dr Vickers.
Aurore C. replied:
The problem with Marcham Road Health Centre is that you don't have a choice in your appointed Dr... And I registered in March this year, I wouldn't recommend this surgery! ;-)
Sian G. replied:
You may not have a choice in the Dr they register you with, but you don't have to see them, you can see any of the doctors. I'm registered with Dr Tan and he is brilliant, even visiting me at home when I was seriously ill after having my first baby, but I always ask to see Dr Pope. I can't fault the doctors there.
David G. replied:
Malthouse Surgery is good. Dr Kundi is superb, very approachable.
Steve C. replied:
Bath Street dental practice, Mr Buckley 01235 520101.
Anna K. replied:
The Abingdon surgery is very good. I cannot recommend Marcham road, been there for 2 years and I was disappointed!
