I took my daughter to see a pediatrician (Dr Rania, Cure Medical Clinic, Al Bateen) for the same problem, she recommended a multivitamin that increased appetite, it worked wonders, although not over night, she is now the right weight/height for her age. Good luck:)

I've seen so many here in AD as I've also got a son who's almost 3, he's been on the very small side since around his first birthday......I finally found Dr Maurice who filled me with confidence and assured me that everything is ok and some toddlers ju st become picky and non eaters, he's great but be prepared, he's very "direct and straight talking" some people I know haven't liked that approach but I love it. Feel free to pm me if you'd like to chat, I've had a nightmare couple of years so know exactly what you might be going through x

The clinic is in the process of extending their pediatric services. Alternatively, the family medicine physician also sees children. As part of the Healthplus Network there is an upcoming pediatric center speacialising in child care www.healthplus.ae . Danat Al Emarat Hospital for women and children is also part of the same group.

Yes, my girls see Dr Deepti at Burjeel. She's lovely, interested in what you have to say, good with the girls, doesn't give antibiotics unless necessary and always asks how Mum is doing. The paediatric clinic is nice, lots of murals on the walls, play area and all the nurses are lovely.
