I work phones for Intuit/Turbotax customer support. They have a new product this year called Turbotax Live for those nervous about using the do-it-yourself products. It's basically the same as going to an office. You are going to use the software step by step which asks you the basic questions but at any time, you can call/write a CPA to assist you, and they review the return with you prior to filing. Turbotax even has the technology to share your screen and do steps for you during the process when you call customer support. https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/turbotax-live.jsp

We use Leslie Schmidt cpa. She's on Watson across from Applebees. She's really good! We have fairly complicated taxes because of many things and she was far less expensive than the cpa we used before. If you go to her, tell her I sent you.

Since there are several people here that have mentioned Turbotax.. just wanted to add this if it would be helpful. Have used "Rhode's tax Service" for over 15 years. He has many clients with all types of returns and is one of the most reasonable around. He'll even give you an estimate of cost over phone. 314-616-0815. Works out of his home. Tell him I sent you. Good luck.
