Can anyone recommend a good, reasonable Vet it Airdrie? Unable to travel any further. My dog needs urgent surgery. Thank you!

The I recently had to take my cat in to Airdrie Animal Clinic. They have been wonderful! I felt like they truly cared. Not cheap, though.
Cathy W. replied:
while I love Nagel and Co, they are not here in Airdrie, I would recomend if not them, then Apex in Airdrie would work
Jennifer L. replied:
Dr Erin at https://www.facebook.com/148444502154845Happy Paws Veterinary Clinic is amazing! Beware of cheap clinics, like everything else - you get what you pay for.

Hi everyone. Looking for recommendations for a vet here in Cochrane, we currently have one in Airdrie and I'm looking closer to home.
Rebecca W. replied:
I take my pets to Arrowhead Vet Center. 3 cats and 1 dog and they all seem happy with them
Darci K. replied:
Cochrane vet on West Aarsby. I have friends from Calgary that make the drive to come to this vet because they take such special care.
Sandy G. replied:
Dr. Kim at Big Hills is amazing!!

Cochrane Vet Care Clinic.

All I know is I have been taking dogs to Cochrane vet care clinic since they were pups, they are now 7 years old, and am still very happy with there care, my sister comes out from Calgary with her dog
Elizabeth A. replied:
You could try Cochrane Vet Clinic. There's such a nice young vet there
Laurie R. replied:
I booked a 'meet and greet' with Dr. Koebisch at Cochrane Lake. When she threw herself down on the floor to meet my nervous corgi, I knew she was a good fit for me and he loves her!
Laurie R. replied:
Love Carolin Koebisch at Cochrane Lake Small Animal Clinic. No upselling or unnecessary procedures or rip off prices, just a good old fashioned vet who loves your animal like her own. (just east of the junction of Hwy 22 and Big Hill Springs Rd.) 15 min. drive at most.
Jessica W. replied:
Cochrane Animal Clinic!!
Sandy C. replied:
I second Cochrane Lake!
Alex E. replied:
Cochrane Lake by far! We shopped around when we moved to Cochrane and while I'm sure the others provide good care at high prices, Dr. Carolin provides excellent care without unnecessary procedures and without breaking the bank!
Leah B. replied:
Dr. Dale Atkin. I had many issues with my cat last year. Dr. Dale was the best.
Anyone recommend a vet in town for a small dog that is not crazy expensive. ..Rascal has an infection in her teeth
Ellen T. replied:
We use Airdrie Animal Clinic-love the vets there-I think they are reasonable.

Kim Cristani at Airdrie Animal Health by Hairbenders
Cindy P. replied:
Dr. Crisamti all the way
Barbara G. replied:
Airdrie Animal clinic on Main street ...That is where I took both our dogs and never had a problem with them ....
Nathalie D. replied:
We use to take the boys to Moores and Co but they no longer see small pets,, and yes I tried to argue that my boy Diesel was a pony but they still respectfully declined. We have just started to take them to Airdrie Animal Clinic on the East side,,, so far so good. Diesel is having a big surgery on Friday and they are doing for 3000 less than western in Calgary. In fairness Western is a specialty veterinary hospital but in our particular scenario we just couldn't. I'm very happy that they are doing the surgery
Leslie L. replied:
Kim Crisanti is awesome
Marj S. replied:
I wouldn't take any of my animals to a vet in Airdrie, I have tried three different ones and not impressed with any of them. We take our to Calgary Holistic Vet, he's great and very reasonable.
Aww Tracy. I hope everything is okay. My one word of advice (having gone through this 6 weeks ago) Is if your little one is still alert and bright.. Wait on the surgery (IF needed)! The McKnight vet team (as would most I'm sure) were very urgent and basically told me Simon would die if they didn't cut him open ASAP. Well... He was still a fairly perky, happy boy.. But away we went and they found nothing. Obviously if your doggie starts to decline, you know what to do. Not sure of your situation but I made a very expensive, premature mistake! BUT- all the people at McKnight were soooo nice to deal with!! Let me know if you need anything. Xoxo
Can anyone recommend a GOOD veterinarian in Calgary or area?
Amanda M. replied:
Fish Creek Veterinary Hospital is really far from you, but soooo amazing. All of the Dr. are so amazing!!! I actually cant even express how greatfull I am for their services and compassion.
