Steve Hildebrant. He rewired my whole bathroom and put in a whole new electric box in the basement. I wont even call another person. He will be doing my kitchen too. He does it all. Great contractor

Those appliance may improve the dimming when off, but are not necessarily the cause. Once cause is a loose connection somewhere in the house. Nothing to mess with!

Steve says Eric Miller is right on. My first thought was a loose neutral in the main service somewhere. Glad you're getting it fixed. These issues are not 'electronics' friendly. Hope nothing else got damaged.
