What is the best clinic in the area to establish a primary doctor? (BTW, I know what all of the clinics are, I'm looking for why one is better than the other.)
Charlotte G. replied:
Give Allina St Michael 763-744-4000 a call!
Jill S. replied:
I found that the doctors at North Clinic (we see Merkel and Schefhausen for our family) have freedom to "practice medicine" more than most, because the doctors are partial owners of the company. It's just one of the criteria I used to find a good doc. Also, both of these doctors were willing to "partner with us and let us make the final decisions" regarding our family. Some we talked to thought that philosophy was not going to work with them.
Doug H. replied:
We have used Allina for years. They have branches all around the area. They are affiliated with Buffalo Hospital and Mercy in Coon Rapids.
Lauretta N. replied:
I wasnt a fan of Allina. I really like the providers at St Michael/Albertville clinic.
Cari N. replied:
Glad you had a good experience. As a health care provider myself (dental), I had concerns with Allina after several years and several providers. I switched to Dr Otis at St Michael/Albertville clinic and it rocked my world! She is incredible!! Completely saw things through a different lens. Good luck!!!
Hollee S. replied:
I second the St. Michael Albertville Clinic, especially Dr. Otis. We've been to Partners in Peds and Allina many times and we'll never go back after our 100% experiences with Dr. Otis and everyone else there.
Any recommendation for an internal medicine physician in the general area?
Karen L. replied:
He is not close (St.Louis Park) but I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lehman with Park Nicollet. He is well respected both within Park Nicollet and elsewhere. He really listens and cares for his patients.
Jackie W. replied:
Daniel Albright at Park Nic. in Rogers is wonderful!
Mike L. replied:
Dr. Lehman is no longer accepting new patients.
Missy F. replied:
Dan Albright, Rogers, Park Nicollet
Trina P. replied:
Dr. Lehman has a close practice unfortunately, ( I work for primary scheduling) but Rogers and Champlin has MED/PEDS (imed/peds) drs who are open . Also, Rogers has a NP Charles Williams who is only IMED and has a open practice:)
