Just like James Anderson, I work in surgery as well. I personally see the older Haas for my treatments and Zaac young Haas is a great surgeon as well as his partner Dr. Cobb. Dr. Wascher was mentioned and is one of the best surgeon but is not a Podiatrist. There are a ton of Podiatrist that I would NOT let touch me.

William Kurtz Algire and a lot of the ones I wouldn't let touch me were mentioned in this post.

Edina Enedina A Miller Kornfield is a great name for a podiatrist!

I did NOT have a good ankle surgery experience nor follow up with Seth Launer. I'd hear him take the time to talk to other patients, but he was always abrupt and dismissive with me. The referal for a PET scan for chronic pain syndrome (which I KNEW I did not have) made me finally give up and get another opinion. I went to Dr. Ivey, and within minutes he identified why I was still in pain 4 months after surgery. Series of cortisone shots and I was good as new within a few months. Highly recommend Dr. Ivey.

Dr. Roe in Los Lunas. He is very good.

Dr. Brady. He is excellent.

I really recommend Dr. Michael Pincus. He is knowledgeable and takes his time with you.

Dr. Kilpatrick with Presbyterian. A doctor from NM Orthopedics wanted to amputate my foot, but Dr. Kilpatrick found another way of putting it back together. He listened to me and my thoughts each time I went in. He is absolutely amazing!

Just do not see Dr.Pacheco at NM Orthopedics. He wanted to amputate my foot without even considering other options.

Dr. Chun in Santa Fe is good with hand and arm problems, and Dr. Rise in Santa Fe repaired my broken femur in 2013.

Dr. Lubowitz did great work on my knee.

Christus St. Vincent Orthopaedics are good, i've heard great things about Dr. Bair there, and i see Schulhofer for my CECS. I used to see Garcia when he was up here, and he was great for broken wrists (daughter and i had to see him for that) but his work on my legs was near terrible.

Dr Chun in sf for hand. Dr Blake for feet also in sf but he comes up to la on Wednesdays. Both are very good!

I saw Dr. Reid in Taos several years ago for a work-related injury. He was part of the same practice with Lubowitz and Guttman.

I highly recommend Dr. Matthew McKinley at Presbyterian in Espanola.

I am dealing with a meniscus root tear and am seeing Dr. Veitch at UNM. He was recommended by my local PT. I've been very impressed with him. And, he is the UNM Lobo Dr. Good luck!

Dr. Bear santa fe, there are a couple good ones in Taos and albuquerque. Dr. Romanelli las cruses is an exeillent surgeon and has worked with a lot of athletes pro, college ect.

I used to work in Ortho at University Hospital. Hands down, Dan Wascher is the best.

GRR... What happened? NM Orthopedics. My dad has been going to them for years. 2 Knee surgeries. Dr. Ritchie.

I had both my knee surgeries done at NM Orthopedics by Dr. Ritchie, he is great. I also shadowed several docs at UNMH working with the Lobos, Dr. Gehron Treme, Dr. Andy Veitch, and Dr. Dan Wascher are all incredible as well!

Depends on the issue. I am biased to UNMH Orthopedics. Dr Gehlert did my hip replacement 4 yrs ago and I feel great! Spinning, hiking, road biking, weight lifting- life changer for me.
