Anybody know a psychiatrist that doesn't have a super long waiting list? I'm trying to get my wife an appointment for anxiety and depression treatment. She has united...

Wait times for docs in Albuquerque are absolutely TERRIBLE; I'm sorry you're in a situation where you're wanting treatment for your wife ASAP and having trouble getting it.
I also have United - your options are pretty much Pres and UNM. In my experience with both, Pres has shorter wait times so I'd try there first. When you call for an appointment, explain the situation: Pres operators have the ability to look for the first available appointment across multiple locations and practitioners but in my experience it takes a bit of persistence (and finding a willing operator) to get good-quality help over the phone.
Are you definitely sure she needs a psychiatrist? A GP, or a PA or NP are often very experienced with anxiety and depression and the associated meds.
Another option if the situation is dire - UNM has a [Psychiatric Urgent Care](http://hospitals.unm.edu/bh/psychiatric-er-urgent-care.shtml) where you can just walk in. If you end up there, they'll offer you referrals to continue your treatment (but I'm not sure whether your appointment with the doc they refer you to will ultimately be any sooner).
Regardless of what you decide to do, call ASAP and get her appointment on the books, even if it's two or three months away. If you do decide you want a psychiatrist, I would also recommend getting her established with a GP/NP/PA too.
Once you get established with a practitioner the turnaround time to an appointment will be faster. But still pretty fricking slow in my experience.

Try the community lighthouse. I don't know if they have a Psychiatrist on staff, buy they have a nurse practitioner that can prescribe these types of medications. They're located near the Whole Foods off the corner of Wyoming and Academy. www.thecommunitylighthouse.com/
