If he doesn't answer cell you can call shop phone at 704-372-2083
Mike W. replied:
Dave I would also recomend Brake and Alignment on North Tryon. They are personal friends and do the majority of our work. 704-598-7082
Bert G. replied:
You can definitely tell Mike I told you about him...sounds like you've got several great options and probably some that are closer to your mom than Metrolina Tire and Auto. Like I said earlier, if there's anything else I can do to help out with your mom just let me know and I'll do my best...I know it's hard to take care of things for her when you aren't physically here.
Jimmy D. replied:
Dave, like Mike Wade said, Brake & Alignment on N. Tryon. Mark Zappa and his guys have been working on my vehicles for years. Great work and fair rates.
Laura G. replied:
Danny at tire county in Monroe is awesome too 704-283-7933 tell I said to call he is an honest man want over charge her. Let me know if u need anything I'm not that far from the old homestead lol.

What's the problem with it? Manchester auto in mint hill is a general mechanic(trustworthy) and can do minor Trans repairs and install of new or rebuilt units. But they don't do internal work on transmission. Their # 704-545-4597. If it needs internal work I know another guy but I would want to call him first to let him know its for me, he does great work, but he is expensive if he doesn't know you, his shop is off albemarle rd in mint hill area. Just lmk
Bert G. replied:
Dave Puckett - Metrolina Tire and Auto is the place I go to...the owner (Mike Stocker) used to go to our church...his shop is still located near our church. I completely trust him...tell him that you know me, explain the situation...he will do right by you. The only problem is it's not close to your mom...it's up on Harris Blvd - exit 18 off of I-77...he will guarantee their work and do any follow up that she needs...the number to the shop is 704-596-0411. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Jim Leffler (Leffler's Garage) is right on the alley behind the post office. Top notch. We've been going there since we moved here in 2005. Best part is, there's no one there but him. You're always talking to the guy who does the work. Nice guy, too.
