What are your recommendations for good (and I mean VERY good) holistic health doctors, naturopaths and the like (anywhere in South or Central Manchester will do). Why do...

Naturally Wells Nutritionist Barlow Moor Road, Manchester, Lancs M21 7QJ 07970 690233 I've got some fairly mystical looking pebbly things that I found in the crud drawer (under the cutlery one, above the one full of carrier bags). As far as I know they have no therapeutic value at all. Will swap for big bottle of cider. More effective than bio-resonance. I wouldnt recommend any, but u could try these guys above.

Thoughts on Chinese medicine practitioners, also...I know there's one on Beech Road. Met the lady last week; liked her. I was going to Dr. and Herbs before...they just disappeared into thin air (business left behind in the Arndale). I'm convinced they must have been up for tax evasion and fled the country. Outrageous. I prepaid to the tune of over £200 for sessions, which were great - very affordable at £30 for acupuncture and massage (bit tough, but I've found Chinese massage to be intense anywhere). I'm absolutely interested in the wholistic movement here, but not at rates that are unsustainable. Thanks for any tips, all.

Probably best to stick with TCM (traditional chinese medicine) and acupuncture. Personally works best for me, it has been highly effective in sorting out both acute and long term health issues. Affordable and professional services from both these two organisations www.manchesteracupuncture.org.uk/ and www.manchesteracupunctureclinic.com :-)
