I've heard good things from the ladies at Davids Bridal about, Sharon's Alterations off Arctic in Anchorage. Right under the 2 nd paragraph on the first page, it talks about the process. Jo at Sew Together is great. She's in Palmer kitty corner from the Depot and the Library. I take most of my repairs to her, even outdoor gear. A great option for advanced tailoring, especially for fine clothes, is Rose's in Anchorage on Arctic Blvd. Her prices are amazing and she does an incredible job tailoring wool suits, gowns, etc.
