I pm u Jenn lol. Dr Mosley is def not for Everyone she has a tell it like it is personality. But I'll choose a good dr over good bedside manner anyway! But she's really good with kids just not always polite to parents lmbo
Alicia S. replied:
Dr Mosley is the DR you want!! All 3 of my boys have gone to her and wouldn't choose anyone else in that office over her. She is straight forward and who wouldn't want that when it comes to a Dr???? You want someone who candy coats things or tells you what you want to learn, hear, and know about your own kids.
Angie B. replied:
If you need an Optometrist. Dr Metras in the WM on 28 bypass. Takes most insurances.

New to the area looking for a pediatrician that uses the DS charts for well visits and who works with specialists. Specialist we need : Pediatric Ophthalmologist,...
Jeremey P. replied:
First, I would recommend applying for Medicaid TEFRA. It can be a lengthy process, but it'll be worth it even if you have private insurance (http://www.familyconnectionsc.org/medicaid.html). I'm not familiar with Anderson's services, but Developmental Pediatrics in Greenville is great. We see Dr. Kelly and couldn't be happier with him. I know people that see other dr's there and feel the same way. It can be quite a wait, though (http://www.ghschildrens.org/developmental-behavioral-pediatrics.php). Dr. Kelly has informed us that the new guidelines for care of children with DS no longer use the DS growth charts. For endocrinology, we use Dr. Amrhein. Again we have no complaints with him. We usually see the NP, though. (http://www.ghs.org/physicians/james-amrhein/1588622179#.U-zwmvldUrU). For opthalmology, we use Dr. Johnson with Jervey Eye Group (https://www.jervey.com/). For a dentist, we use Dr. Crockett (http://www.crockettpediatricdentistry.com/). For primary care, we use the Center for Pediatric Medicine and have been happy with them. (http://www.ghschildrens.org/center-for-pediatric-medicine.php) We have felt very lucky in the quality of care we have gotten for our son. Like I said, all of these are in Greenville, I don't know what you'll find in Anderson. Hope that helps!
Michele B. replied:
Our pediatrician is Dr. Donna Smith. She loves our DS babies and has the DS growth chart. She is always in communication with Connors cardiologist, endocrinologist, and help you get in touch with any other specialist you may need. The Pelham Rd. Office has all the specialist in one building, who all communicate with each other also. They make visits to Mary Black also in Spartanburg.
Karin M. replied:
Tracey Butcher at Carolina pediatrics
Crystal H. replied:
We use the same endocrinologist and eye dr as the Poindexter's and are pleased. We also use Greenville hospitals deveplomental Peds, but are seen at the CDS office because my kids are younger. Both of my children see NP Kathy Burnette there and we are pleased. We see GHS peds pulmonology and usually see NP Lisa DuBose and I LOVE her. We have also seen dr Gwinn and Snodgrass in that office and like each of them. Both of my boys go to Greenville pediatric Dentistry and we LOVE the doctors there. All three are wonderful and each have many special needs patients.
Crystal H. replied:
We live in Anderson, but all Peds specialists are associated with Greenville Hospital System. Many of them do see patients in Anderson offices on certain days of the week though. Personally, I just prefer to go to the Children's Outpatient Clinic in Greenville. Or specialists are all in that office and are great abit trying to scheduled our appointments back to back so that we don't have to make multiple trips.
Crystal H. replied:
We see Dr Godwin at Pediatric Associates of Powdersville. She doesn't use a separate chart, but we have not had any problems with that. We love her! They are associated with GHS as well. My advice as a mom of a child who sees many specialists is to try to stick with GHS (greenville health system) doctors because they share a records system and work closely with each other. This has been very helpful to me.
Kristi W. replied:
I recommend Dr Smith with GHS ophthalmology... She caught some stuff Dr Johnson didn't... And we had been going to him since Avery was 6 months.. We see Dr Armhein for endocrinology. No complaint.

MichaelandKatie M. replied:
Dr. Stone is the best pediatrician there is!!! He takes his own call and remembers you! He is a Christian and doesn't force anything on you! We LOVE him!
Susann H. replied:
Dr. Hart is the best! The only pediatrician my daddy would allow to see his grandson!
Beth S. replied:
Dr. Hart took good care of 7 stipe's...now he is seeing some of the little grands!!!
Jenny P. replied:
Dr. Hart is who the girls see and I think as long as the new baby has siblings that he already sees then there is no problem getting the new baby in. Boulevard usually has a 8-9 month waiting list for new burns so get on it now. I put Garrett on it as soon as I found out I was pregnant and didn't get the call that there was an availability until he was almost 2 months old but by then we had already decided not to do full time daycare and me keep him with me. Good luck!
Jessi G. replied:
Pediatric associates I love all of the doctors in that group. My girls see Dr Maddox.
Jessica Y. replied:
Emmalee sees Dr. McClanahan as well, and she's wonderful.
Trish S. replied:
All the Dr.'s at Pediatric Associates are great! As far as daycare goes, Glenna Sanders runs a GREAT in home Daycare in Amberwood. She's awesome!!!

I take Jax to Wren Family Medicine on hwy 81. He sees Dr. Michael Seemuller. We love him!
Leanne M. replied:
Thanks ladies! I've actually got an appointment to see dr Hart before she arrives but I really haven't checked around so I just wanted to make sure he was The One. Boulevard and kids stuff are my top 2 at the moment too Sunny Owens Wells!
Tonya V. replied:
Hey Leanne. Just to throw another doctor out there that hasn't been mentioned. We use Piedmont Children's Clinic with Dr. Syed. He is awesome and so nice. Hope you find a great doctor for yo
Jennifer A. replied:
We love Dr. McClanahan at pediatric associates. She sees all of my kids.
Beth D. replied:
Hey Leanne, so happy for you guys!! We love Dr Keith Hart with AnMed pediatrician's office! All the md's in that group are great! Me, my sister and sister-in-law (total of 8 kids ) see him!!! Also, we use Oakwood Christian preschool! Both my boys love it!
Kristy H. replied:
I agree, Pediatric Associates, you need to call now, they require you to come in for a "interview" before the baby is born to go over what to expect after delivery. We see Dr Hart there and LOVE him!
Susan G. replied:
Dr. Hart - is awesome! Was ped. doc for all 3 of our boys!
Anna H. replied:
Dr Hobbs at an med pediatric associates. She is awesome
Sunny W. replied:
Dayton sees Dr. Moseley in dr. Hart's group and we love her. She grew up in Belton and talks to me real. Not Dr. style. They are all good but in daycare news....you need to run not walk to get on waiting lists. Dayton goes to Boulevard and I got on the waiting list when I was 8 weeks pregnant. I got a call the week before she was born. I had a spot at Kid's Stuff that I would have gladly taken her to but Boulevard is amazing! I went around everywhere and those 2 were my 1 and 2.
Jessica B. replied:
Dr. McClanahan is AMAZING!!!
Lauren W. replied:
Dr. Stone is awesome, Hayden has had some bad issues since birth and he was wonderful understanding and if he didn't know he always tried to figure something out. Both boys love hin
Kellie E. replied:
We also love Dr. Stone.
Jennifer H. replied:
Dr. Hart for sure at Pediatric Associates. When Austin was 5 weeks old he found a hole in his heart. He didn't like what he heard with his heartbeat, so he sent him straight downstairs for an xray and echo. He didn't like the results of that so he sent us straight over to Greenville for an ultrasound. It ended up being a small hole in his heart that would grow up over time. I just like that he doesn't waste ANY time getting to the bottom of whatever kind of problem that your child may have. Like one of your friends said he is cautious and thorough. We is also wonderful with helping you with their development and when you feel clueless as a new mom (or at least I did) he helps make you feel comfortable and help you get use to new things and teaches you the right way to deal with feedings, sleep habits, and much more.
Jennifer H. replied:
Sorry for writing a book on your post, I could just go on and on with why I like Dr. Hart so much. lol
Anderson friends.....we've been waiting on an opening for an Anderson pediatrician. We finally got a spot at Children's Health Center but have never heard of it and know...
Marilyn M. replied:
Carrie, this was a long time ago, but Dr. Sam Haddock in Anderson, was my children's pediatrician and I drove from Greenville to Anderson for 25 yrs., b/c he was the very best! He passed away several years ago.
Meredith S. replied:
I've never heard of Children's Health Center. Who are the drs? I wish so bad Anderson had a branch of GHS pediatricians. We left a practice we really liked in Greenville because of the drive.
Rebecca Y. replied:
Have you tried Anderson Pediatrics? We love Drs. Stone, Hobbs, and Treash!
Elisabeth C. replied:
Anderson Pediatrics!!! You can't go wrong with Stone, Treash OR Hobbs. Treash is our "official" pediatrician, but we see them all (Hobbs came to the hospital when MM was born and Stone and Hobbs checked on Wilson when he had to get staples after a fall)! We LOVE them!
Kimberly M. replied:
We go to Anderson Pediatrics! Love them!
Kim A. replied:
A friend of mine is a pediatrician with anmed I believe- don't know if she does outpatient or all hospital but it's worth checking. She's very smart and kind- her name is Carley Howard Draddy.
Lauren H. replied:
Carrie Sosebee Byce, we adore Dr. Stone. Also, since I know you are following this I gave Chad your money and I owe you a dollar still. Sorry, I had to buy two blow pops for myself at a game last night bc I am a child. Haha!
MichaelandKatie M. replied:
Lauren Taylor Hege we also go to Dr. Stone and he is WONDERFUL!!! We will stay with him forever. I can not say enough good things about him!

Katrina R. replied:
Dr Hart doesn't take new patients anymore. Only children of his previous patients! But Draysen goes to Dr Moseley who is in with Dr Hart & she's fabulous!! Call at least a month or two before your due date to set up an appointment to meet her because she likes to get background info & stuff. I highly recommend her!
Crystal T. replied:
Best way is to ask friends who they use and if they recommend them. I know that Dax also sees Dr Hart and they like him a lot.
