Www.puredoglisteners.com is all about how to bring your puppy up to fit into your world. It's not all about sit stay and heel. My book "why does my dog do that ?" Shows you how to best understand your puppies needs and how they think.

My husband Adam Baxter runs The Running with Dogs company. He is APDT trained and can deal with this behaviour with one on one sessions. We also offer daycare so he could come out with us all day as we have access to a 5 acre field which would certainly burn some energy for those days when you need to leave him. Have a look at our page and give us a message and Adam could come and meet you to talk through your issues https://m.facebook.com/therunningwithdogscompany/

Peter and Anji at Newbury Lodge - cannot recommend them highly enough. Good luck with your dog, all credit to you for trying to address the issue. I have a reactive Shepherd who has been to Newbury Lodge since she was 16 weeks, I wouldn’t have known what to do with her without their guidance and support.

Peter Branch- Newbury Lodge Training centre. I'm sure they used to own this breed too..... In my opinion, they are by far the best. They have a website & FB page with much more info on. I'm sure he will be able to help.:)

I would definitely recommend Peter Branch and Newbury Lodge Kennels and Training Centre - Peter has owned bulldogs himself and has done obedience and "low" agility with them too:-) so has plenty of experience in this breed and pretty much every breed going I would think!!! ..... and Newbury Lodge are a Kennel Club listed training centre and also do all their training outside in their own grounds as being outside is a much more realistic and natural way to train your dog. It is always worth checking that whomever you do select as a trainer and/or behaviourist, that they have the qualifications to back up their training and advice.....which Peter and Anji have in both training and behavioural issues. Have a look at their website http://www.newburylodgetrainingcentre.moonfruit.com/# or face book page for more info https://www.facebook.com/pages/Newbury-Lodge-Kennels-and-Training-Centre/109547639117611?fref=ts

Looking for recommendations for local dog training classes please
Kerry W. replied:
http://andoverdogtraining.org/ This is the link for the classes in Clatford Village Hall as mentioned above. They are a great lot. I took my staffy for 2 years and she was a handful before I started here. In fact I'm definitely thinking of rejoining with her. She loved it, as did I.
