Any suggestions on some affordable and/or good experience hotels in NY close to Time Square?
Thnx!

I liked the Edison right in Time Square and old school, not a lot of bells a whistles. They do have a parking garage , there is a deli right next door or more so a Bodega . I purchased under Hotels.com and was a great deal.

Opinion question: I am so sick of buying ice by the bag. Does anyone know of a restaurant that sells it by the cooler-full? Or should I just try to find a lonely hotel...
Scott D. replied:
Step One is invest in a https://www.facebook.com/91454100943 YETI, but I think you already knocked that step out. Ice that baby up on Friday afternoon and your drinks are still freezing on Sunday evening. Step Two is, likely, invest in a semi-commercial/industrial icemaker. Maybe we (the C-Dock crew at Jabins, Steve Linhard, and you) can go in on one together. We'll moor it out in the middle of the creek under heavy chain and lock.
