Hi Andrea, I can recommend the santa ponsa dental practice in santa ponsa it's an English practice and Howard is great, he looks after myself and my daughter. As for doctors, I go to a gp called dr marissa she is in a juaneda surgery in Palma nova near to papis bar and the Santander bank. The receptionist all speak English and she also speaks English. Highly recommend. She works alongside the juaneda hospital so can put in touch with other specialist doctors should you need. My baby is under dr assis at juaneda paediatrics lovely doctor but very little English but they have translators there that are only too happy to help during your appointments. I live in cala vinyes just down from sol de mallorca so if you fancy meeting up let me know

My kids go to Dr Haak at the Palma Clinic which is based on the same site as the Palma Planas hospital. He's German but also speaks English and Spanish of course.

We also see Dr Marisa, she's lovely and a very good doctor.

The Dental Practice in Santa Ponsa is good. If you are looking for Pediatrician and Dentist/ Child dentist all in one check the Liberix Clinic in Palma (exit Son Rapinya, next to Clinica Picasso). We are with Dr. Noack and Dr. Roos for almost 2 years now and very happy with their services (www.liberix.eu)

Hi Andrea there is a really good German doctor Barbara at All Medica in Port Andratx if you have DKV insurance. She can do blood testing there and then and things like ultrasound and ECG. She doesn't give out antibiotics until she blood tests you to find out if you need them. We go to her for more serious things and Marisa for less serious. My husband has just seen Marisa and it's taken 2 weeks for blood tests and ultrasound...which is ok as it's nothing serious but Barbara can do that in half an hour. Both doctors are great with children. There is a 24 hour paediatric emergency at Palma Planas which is absolutely brilliant. No six hour waits here...straight in...no messing. Also children and EHIC card holders can use any of the local PACS clinics for free....these are 24 hour clinics staffed by doctors. Find the nearest one to you. They are great for emergencies. The health services here are worth living here for!
