I have hauled ALOT of Horses into Apple Valley Equine Hosp. to have their teeth done, about 60% of the time I hear how, (insert name here) had "just" floated my Horses teeth about six months ago..Some of the Horses teeth are HORRENDOUS to say the least,,,,If you have a Veterinarian do your Horses teeth, you can be assured it will be done CORRECTLY, not just some HACK hand float job....All the necessary tools, equipment, sedation will be used, it is ALOT less stressful for both the Horse and you..It WILL cost more to have a Veterinarian do the job, BUT it does NOT cost as much as Colic surgery, abcess treatment, because your Horses teeth were NOT done correctly in the first place....BUT, as usual, it is up to each individual to decide how THEY want to do things...!!
