I hope this is ok to post...
I'm searching for a preschool in the Smokey Point/Arlington area for my son who will be 4 in September. Not sure where to start looking....

A little off the beaten path, but Grace Academy in Marysville has a great pre-k program. My daughter is just finishing up her year there. They are $190 a month. I've also heard Arlington Highland Christian is good too

Everyone I know with pre schoolers go to Northwest Children's School...

We loved Faith Lutheran in Lakewood and highly recommend it. It is important to interview the prospective schools that you are interested in. Ask lots of questions, including how they handle discipline. I won't name the school (and no one on here has recommended it yet), but one school actually told me that they place a misbehaving child in a closet and close the door, leaving them in there for a "timeout"!!!

We did Little Light and Our Saviors both excellent and in Arlington. I've heard fantastic things about Faith Lutheran in Lakewood and Marysville Free Methodist.

Looks like $110-$145 depending on if you are 2 or 3 days a week. http://storage.cloversites.com/smokeypointcommunitychurch/documents/Information%20Brochure%202014-2015.pdf

you should check out Marysville Cooperative Preschool ;)
We are going to be putting Liam in preschool and are looking for recommendations. Where does your child go and why do you like it? Thank you for any and all input!

Little Light Preschool just down the road at SPCC. http://www.smokeypointcommunitychurch.org/#/outreach/little-light-preschool

When we looked for Aiden, we took tours of all the preschools in the area and decided the best one for him. We just started Connor's tours today I did hear though that for Liam's age group Little Light Preschool is full.

Sunshine Preschool awesome place and he will have fun learning
Mike D. replied:
We sent Jordan to Sunshine Preschool with Tracy Mumm. Great program, great teachers and very good priced. They're in Maysville.

I'm not sure where the best is now, but I remember my pre-school days and they were a BLAST!! I went to a Christian pre-school at the little white church on the island. I have heard awesome things about Saviors Lutheran in Stanwood. Obviously it's a personal choice wether to put your kids in pre-school or not (and I think both have advantages and disadvantages), but I just wanted to add in a kid's perspective to how much I loved going to pre-school! I don't remember much as a 3-4 year old but I have multiple awesome memories from at pre-school! It's a learning experience (more than just numbers or letters) unlike anything else I had at the time! We haven't decided on homeschooling our kids yet (I am truly a fan of homeschool done properly!), but either way I think pre-school is awesome and wether we do k-12 at home or in school, pre-school will totally be happening. I was a pretty social kid so I really thrived in that setting. And honestly as far as exposure to bad influences, at a Christian school at such a young age I never picked up any bad things or habits. First grade is when that all started!
Looking for used kids' dress up clothes for the preschool. Also, anyone have a nice stuffed animal bear or bunny (medium sized) in good shape that they no longer want?
