Hi Everyone! We're headed to Angel's Camp for a quick trip in a couple weeks. Any recommendations on things to do or restaurants to go to? Thanks so much!

There is a little tea house in the Columbia State Historic Park (people still live in the outskirts of this town). It had wonderful quiche and desserts (discount coupon on the wall in the check in building). I think my sister had soup and salad, we bot h liked it. Mikes Pizza is good basic pizza, they have other things on the menu also. After hiking all day it was pretty tasty. If you go to the visitor center which isn't too far away they give you a visitor pass thing to hang on your key chain, it will get you discounts at various places and Mike's Pizza is one of them.

Big Trees is up hwy 4 and further up is Bear Valley. Cross country skiing and sledding on the right side of the hwy and down hill skiing in the Bear Valley ski resort. Big Trees http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=551Bear Valley Resort Bear Valley is a ski area located on highway 4 between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite—about three… hours southeast of Sacramento, California. It is about one hour from Angels Camp, California. Wikipedia http://www.bearvalley.com
