Doctors in Ashland, OH

Hard to find these days, so many are not taking new patients. Try Chris Boyd. with Medical associates, not sure if he is taking newbies or not.

Dr. Vore is no longer practicing in Ashland, moved to Galapollis.

I went to ashland medical assoc. When I grew up there. It was Irvine. Adkins, Elderbrock. Was Dr. Souder too. Think Irvine and Souder are no longer there. Dr. Adkins is in Ontario now at the old Lazarus building at Richland mall with Ontario Medical Associates. Think it is called Avita Health systems. Anyhow Ashland Medical Assoc. Used to be in the building on Hillcrest by the hospital. Not sure if they are still there or not. They are nice.

Dr Zarrabi is who I go to and her office is right by where the old walmart an Payless was as you come into Ashland . I have went there about 5 yrs. Really think she is nice. Lots of nice nurse practitioners too

If you were looking for the kids I was going to recommend Pediatric Consultants. They are an AMAZING practice! I only WISH they treated adults too!

I bet Mindy Fisher Sansom was going to recommend Pediatric Consultants for the kids! They are absolutely fabulous!!! A Christian practice!

Dr Zarrabi is good

Dr. Furness is awesome! He's a family practice on Clairmont. He sits down and talks with you and listens. I've never felt rushed and always felt better after talking with him. He is also will to run tests or refer for services with specialists at your request and doesn't make you feel lile your being ridiculous for asking or being concerned.

I see Dr. Boyd in Ashland. He is in with Dr. Furness and Dr. Stencel. Their practice is Medical Associates. I believe all the physician practices that are owned by the hospital are taking new patients, but I am not sure about Medical Associates though. I would try to call for an appointment sooner rather than later because some practices have close to a two month wait to be seen for new patients. I agree with Pediatric Consultants. They are very nice.

Dr. Boyd is amazing

Pediatric Consulants (Dr. Menendez is Evan's favorite, but they are all good)for the kids... I see Dr. Zarrabi. I AM NOT a fan, so I request her nurse practitioner Rachel Warrick, she's awesome!

Dr. Furness at medical associates is awesome! My kids and I all go to him..

He never did much for me except take alot of testand if he had did his job I would of known I was in liver failure earlier. Dr, Furness is a great doctor.s

Oh just the long list of things I don't like about going to my doc. When I first got ill I went to her time and time again. First it was "sinus" problems which I have suffered from. Nothing. Went back 3 weeks later and this time I even said I thought I had a tumor and was brushed off. I think I went a third time....4 th time my doc was on vacation and I saw an associate whom I had never dealt with. Guess I got my self poised and demanded some action. Saw my ENT the very next day who promptly stuck his finger down my throat and felt the HUGE mass on my tongue. His face went sheet white and with a FUCK out of his mouth, I knew I was in trouble. (Then he apologized and hugged me). I love that man and every day I get out of bed and thank him. He is also the one who felt no Cleveland Clinic but rather the James at OSU as they saw/see my kind of cancer everyday.

I am having the same struggle Nancy Wasen one stupid roadblock I have discovered in the ashland samaritan staff, is you cannot "switch" if you see a doc in their professional corp group ( which is just about all of them) because there are "so many people who don't have a doc, " they want to keep us minions in place to serve them. Its a load of crap. If I want to switch docs in this town it shouldn't matter if they belong to a "group" or not. I got a referral to Rachel Warric, PA for Tavalee & hear she is wonderful, but can't even get an appointment. Ridiculous. So I am looking too. There are a small # not in the cult that may be accepting. Med Assoc is one possibly. Haven't called yet. But feel I am literally being told to take my health out of town.
