I need a suggestion for a good hairdresser. Im looking to spend up to 35 for a haircut. I went to a hairdresser that i really liked but it was $50 which is too much...

The one time a year I get my haircut I go to the beauty school in town. Great prices and a instructor is always watching the student do your hair. http://www.imaniinstituteofcosmetology.com/hair-service-menu/

Jamie at Loose Ends Hair. Consistent, experienced, intuitive, and funny! $25-35/cut. Old style salon-no spa. Love it. I searched and searched too because I found someone I loved but it was $50-55 a cut and I agree-too much! I sometimes schedule every other month to cut down the cost and she's cool w/that-she gets it! Good luck!

I also say Jamie at Loose Ends. My husband, myself, and my two kids have been going to her for years. She is the best.
Need recommendations for a Hair Stylist/colorist extraordinaire.
My usual person is MIA.
Need someone who knows how to make thin, fine hair beautiful.
Who do you love?

I really like Mona@Hair City. She's been coloring & cutting my hair for about 10 years. She also does Melissa's. 488 4663
Looking for a cheap, good hair stylist in the area....I know the EXACT hair cut I want, I could technically even do the layers, but I can't do the overall shape myself....

Kelly Ingledew, girlfriend of Drew Smith, is a good hairstylist working at The Blue Giraffe downtown.
I'm looking for a very good hairstylist in Portland. Any recommendations? My hair is coarse(obvi) and a little hard to work with but a good stylist can handle it....

How do you think I know my hair turns orange? Personal experience with an attempt at "highlights" with hydrogen peroxide in high school. Considering my hair was jet black before it was silver....I should have known better.... I think everyone in the 80's did that shit.Beth used Sun In. I have a couple photos of her with her lovely brassy hair in high school. The 80's ruled.
