Can anyone recommend a good joint supplement for horses? I don't want to go crazy with a £60 tub as its only for maintenance but I'm not just out for the cheapest...

Paste, I was told powder on it's own to feed was useless. Plus the paste is really easy to make and I do a big batch that lasts. Get the tumeric from a local Asian shop so is really cheap for huge bags x

Bonnie Knight I would suggest anyone naming a product (which is 80% of people on this post)!! I use Forever Freedom on 27 horses at present which is not just a sales pitch but a testimonial! This is VetChat not selling pages (I'm also working with several vets in conjunction with use) so I think I know what I'm talking about. Surely people that have honest, correct information which is proven, which is ethical and useful to these equine animals it is right that the information is shared!!? Your comments would be welcome.

Alan Stirling. Please note Forever Freedom isn't Aloe Juice if juice is what you require try Holland & Barratt....totally different, not sourced or produced in the same way. Forever is a patented Gel...it contains over 22 vitamins and minerals and 8 essential amino acids which you will be aware if you have any nutritional training is vital for good health and vitality, improving gut, bones, blood flow, skin and hair....if you need any information I am sure Forever would be willing to send you the information on these products - also recommended by many in the horse world. I'm not selling it to you I'm merely suggesting you find out the information, use the product and talk with knowledge.

Julie Slark the piperine in the pepper slows the digestion of the turmeric etc so it stays in the body longer giving it more of a chance to be absorbed by the body rather than passing through quickly x
