We used Dr Reese in toccoa. She is AWESOME I would highly recommend her..

If your like me and most mommies, when our babies are sick you want a place when you call they can get you in the same day. As you see Toccoa Pediatrics has a lot of great reviews on here. They are really an awesome place and the nurses and secretaries are really good. Everytime I have called, which is alot with my girls, they always tell me to bring them in on the same day. You may not see your regular Dr, but we really don't have any issues with any of them. I did state in an earlier post I don't care for Dr Maley but that is because with him we have experienced double booking and on top of that to me he is really slow. You cant go wrong with any one of them. They also have a satellite office in Lavonia at the new hospital.

Dr. Maley was my pediatrician since birth an has been Kenzie an tays since birth also. But him an Juanita are the best love them both!

I know Dr. Reese and she is a really sweet woman, Marlana Dove.

We use Dr. Baker in Athens. He is awesome! We have BCBS out of Illinois and they take it.

Dr. Payton in Athens is awesome. Like Julie Dove Cantrell said "all of the Dove children go to him".

Mine go to Dr. Maley and the nurse practitioner there, Juanita. They are both wonderful! I have used them for 7 years now, no complaints

All of my kids go to Toccoa Pediatrics which include Dr Maley, Dr Patel, Junatia, Dr. Stroud and Betsy Moore. You know my girls have a lot of medical problems and these Drs are great. I don't personally like Dr Maley. Carli sees Dr Patel which he is great with her. He takes up time and explains everything. If he doesn't know, he will refer you to a specialist. Chloe is older and she sees Betsy Moore and she is great too. Cameron sees Dr Stroud and she is good. IF I call as soon as they open the same day they are always able to get them in to see someone and its local too. This group is the best so far I have found with my kids and all the issues they have. Dr. Reese. She is very good and caring Dr. She was the only one that could help with Josh when he was little. She did not give up until she found out what the problem was. She also listens to the mom. She said that the moms know how thier baby should be acting, and know when somethin is wrong...Even now If I she her she ask about Josh....

Dr Reese. She's awesome. My girls were sick and took them to her and I hadn't been feeln to well myself and she said "can't get these baby's well if ur sick too" so she wrote me some antibiotics too. She also pierced there ears too. She great.

I was taking her to JonMarie Martin who is in the practice with Melissa Martin but for sure crazy reason ARMC doesn't accept pediatric BCBS plans

I like Dr Maley & Dr Patel. Up there, I used to see them. But I now that I live out past Athens, I send konner to Dr Albert. But she's with Athens regional system. Wonderful doctor thought.

I use Glassman in Athens and I know there are lots of good peds in Athens....but I used Dr. Maley in Toccoa for some of my foster kids and he was great!

I love love love Dr Maley. Not crazy about his nurse, but Dr. Maley is a teaching Dr. With that being said he his taught and given me alot of great solutions. Good luck w your hunt, this is never easy.

Do not use Dr. SHETTY! Kalie was having an episode of what we now know was eczema and we couldn't get her to Dr. Baker that day because he was out of office so we used Dr. Shetty. He gave her an epinephrine shot in the office because he said she was having an allergic reaction to something. When I finally got to Dr. Baker later in the week he was FLOORED Dr. Shetty gave her an epinephrine shot in office like that when her symptoms didn't warrant one AT ALL. Kalie could have had a very very bad reaction to that shot and we are so blessed she didn't. Pretty scary thinking about it. I absolutely adored Dr. Baker in Athens. He has seen both girls since they were born and I couldn't ask for a better pediatrician. Good luck finding a doctor and just always follow your mommy spidey senses.

I will look into the Drs mentioned. I'm sure Athens is where I'll go. My mom took us to Athens Doctors and dentists so I guess my kids will too

I use Dr Saurez and I really like him and I think his wife is a ped. sometimes you have to wait but it is worth it. Tell him/her I recommended them. Girl!!! Go to athens!!! Dr. Tara Merritt is awesome! I used dr baker bf her and let's just say it was the best change I've ever made!

I love Dr Martin is Athens she's great I stay as far away from commerce as possible for health care

I also use Dr. Albert, she is awesome. A little drive to Watkinsville, but, it is worth it to me, she knew all about the syndrome Charles has and is very compassionate. She comes in starts a conversation, she doesn't rush in and out.

Ok well u still May wanna try Dr Stroud. When my kids r sick and I know its a cold or strep all I hasta do is call her she talks to me personally then calls in the scripts. Dr.stroud is a good Dr. That's who amber and Gage has seen for years. But Dr.Bailey is really good also without the long wait the thing I hate about Toccoa clinic is waiting forever to see the doctor.

Dr Raber in Lavonia is good too. That's who i go to an Addison goes to.

We use Juanita Norris at Toccoa Clinic.. She is amazing..

Dr. Jones in Royston is really good. He is understanding, a good listener, a good teacher and he takes time with his patients.

Dr. Matthew Baker he's our doctor and believe me hes no pill pusher. He sees everyone and you see him not a nurse We have been seeing him for 7 yrs now

Dr. Newman and McCorkle!! You can't get antibiotics out of them for NOTHING!!! I'm not a pill pusher but I love some antibiotics when my baby doesn't feel good! Lol

Yes I take my son to Athens as well and Dr. Holly Van De Voort is awesome too she's Dr. Setia's partner in the office but both r great doctors and affordable! !!!!!!! It is worth the drive! !!!!!!
