Jonathan Edwards is the best technician in town. Last I knew, he did the pianos for Emory, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, etc., and ours. Source: husband is professional pianist.

It's at least $100 and for one that has been neglected it will be more and need one more often until it is in tune. My father was a tuner (blind from birth) - I drove him to tune when I was a teen. A piano needs to be tuned twice a year (or more if you have perfect pitch and it bothers you) as the seasons change. Jonathan Edwards is truly the best but hard to get and stays busy. I've never had luck getting him. Most places that sell pianos will recommend a tuner.
I use an individual - his name is Rodney Pritchett. Very nice, knowledgeable, and reasonable. He took time to talk to us so we knew everything he was doing. The entire family enjoyed this tuning session! His number is 770-421-1013.
Janet A. replied:
Rodney Pritchett. He tunes all the pianos at church. His wife Nancy does the scheduling. He is an elder at Midway Presbyterian Church, father of 6 and expert tuner!
I need to find a piano tuner, someone to give our baby grand some TLC and tune it. We've called 7 so far and can't get a call returned. We're in Gwinnett. Anyone?

Miranda A. replied:
Lauren Roberts?
Lauren R. replied:
I use Rick Bazemore ! Travels all over, but depends on distance. Know he doesn't do ALL areas on the south side, so will just depend on where exactly he'd need to go.
Miranda A. replied:
Jeff Pike Lauren Roberts is my cousin. Just making the introduction. Teaches piano and is overall amazing. smile emoticon
