I would suggest meeting and dining at The Blue Marlin. Great food and atmosphere in the middle of a nice shopping district. Park around back if stairs are a problem, there is a nice ramp on the other side.

Anybody who goes to Columbia should visit Just Us cafe in Cayce.Never had a bad meal and the people are fantastic.Very economical and always a daily special.Take a trip to the state museum.You can get around well and AC will keep you cool.

Blue Marlin is located in the entertainment district of downtown. It is a fairly upscale seafood restaurant with great food. There is a lot of shopping in that area and it is near the museum and statehouse.

Five Guys is good if you want a deliciously big greasy burger, but you've gotta get a double. If you're talking gourmet type burgers, Whiskey Bar Kitchen is the way to go.
