Best plant store in town? I'm looking to spruce up my patio with some greenery. I'm looking to buy a lemon tree. Doesn't have to be big, but I'm not looking to grow it...

Down south, I would also recommend http://www.naturalgardeneraustin.com. The others that have been mentioned (Great Outdoors, It's About Thyme) are also excellent, but I think the selection and expertise at Natural Gardener is a step above.

If you're up north check out Red Barn Garden Center.

[It's About Thyme](http://itsaboutthyme.com/) is great, has a great selection and lots of trees. No experience with carnivorous plants however.

It's About Thyme (11726 Manchaca Rd, Austin, TX 78748) They have a broad inventory wif a lot of plants you don't see everyday. I bought some Thai lime trees from them two years ago. They have a pretty good citrus selection. Everyone working the seems to be really helpful as well. If anyone knows where to get carnivorous pants then let us know. I've never seen any except a few dying Venus flytraps at Home Depot.

If you find somewhere in town that consistently has carnivores, and are actually knowledgeable on the subject, do share!! I've been using petflytrap.com -- They're just outside of Houstin, in Spring. Generally get anything I buy the next day, and packaged with love and care. - My most recent buy from them was this Miranda: http://i.imgur.com/8PehZru.png

You might check Eastside succulents for the carnivorous plant. I don't know for a fact that they would have it, but it's a good shot. They're also next door to the Tillery St. Plant Co., who might have a lemon tree.

Is Sledd nursery still open at 12 th and West Lynn? I got some cedar chips from them to help control mosquitoes and they worked amazingly well.

Last time I was at The Great Outdoors (like, a month ago?), they had quite a few pitcher plants in their greenhouse. Also, they're my favorite here in town. The staff there is always really friendly there. *Also, they usually have plenty of citrus trees.
Garden centers recommendation Hi Austinites, I'm an active gardener looking for places that have interesting/different/prettier pots for plants. If you know of a place...

East Austin Succulents and Tillery Street Plant Co. (they share a lot) usually have a nice selection.
