A little bit further out from Llangollen is the excellent Bryntirion Inn, just outside Corwen, at Llandderfel. Great good and generous portions. Good range of beers. The Wharf Cafe at the Horse Drawn Boat Centre welcome dogs as does the Hand Hotel. Also (as mentioned) The Bridge End plus Vintage Rose cafe.
