need doggy daycare recommendations I'm going out of town for two weeks, and I can't bring my yorkie with. Can anyone suggest a good and reasonably priced doggy daycare...

A good dog daycare that i take my dog too is [Good Doggie Daycare](http://gooddoggiedaycare.com/) on 29 th st. They are cage free, separate the dogs by size and energy level, have a human in the room at all times with the dogs, and have camera's in all the rooms so you can always see what your dog is doing. If you're looking for a little cheaper option maybe try [DogVacay.com](https://dogvacay.com/). It's like airbnb for dogs.

What I've noticed is that for every person who's happy with their dog care place, there are a seemingly equal number of people who swear the very same place is run by puppy beating masochists.
I've used SoBo Doggie Day Care in Locust Point and Downtown Dog Resort in South Baltimore and been happy with both of them. We settled on Downtown Dog Resort mostly for consistency and hours that line up with our schedules a little better. The rates were about the same at both places.
The dogs are always happy to be dropped off and contented and played out when they are picked up. One of our dogs has a chronic condition requiring treatment and they are very good about administering her medication and actually called us a few times to confirm if certain things were normal or not when they had questions.
They match dogs up in play groups based on size/energy levels, etc. My dogs have never come back in worse shape then they left, except for being smellier/dirtier depending on how hard they were playing.
Anyway, that's been my experience. Whatever recommendations you get, I'd just advise you to go check it out for yourself to make sure you are comfortable.
