Good prices on whiskey- Baltimore area I'm looking to buy a nice bottle of whiskey for a friend that's getting married.
Looking to buy something like:
Glenlivet...

You're best off going to Total Wine in Towson. They generally beat stores by a pretty decent margin.

Great selection of whiskey, good prices, nice staff. Highly recommend. http://www.thewinesource.com/

Wine Source in Hampden is also good.

Everything you listed is whisky. Not whiskey.

Wells on York Road at the county line-not sure if they carry the brands you mentioned since their site doesn't have a catalog but I find their prices tend to beat even Total Wine typically. State Line Liquors is pretty far but if you're traveling near Elkton along 95 for whatever reason, definitely stop there-it'll become your #1 Cranbrook Liquors in Cockeysville or Perfect Pour in Elkridge have a good selection but IMO their prices aren't impressive. Magothy Wine & Sprits in Severna Park is the reverse of that.

+1 for Total Wine (either of their locations). I also would recommend Fairground Liquors across from the Maryland State Fairgrounds on York Rd. in Timonium. They have a fairly substantial selection and they can special order for you as well (I ordered a single bottle of gin that they don't carry and they were able to get in within a week in time for Christmas).

Take the tour over at Sagamore. When you get to the bottling room you can sign a bottle as the "bottler". Initial it as something tied to the wedding, then buy the bottle and gift it.

Whitey's in Linthicum. Great selection and a knowledgeable staff and owners.

King's Liquors off Route 40 in Rosedale has really good prices. As long as you don't mind going to a place with bullet proof glass in front of the registers, I find most of their prices beat Total Wine.

i'd suggest [here](https://www.petitecellars.com/) as their selection is massive.

I like the wine source in hamden: in the city, large selection (even weird ones like Sheep Dip)and the price always seems pretty good (cheaper than in Scotland, thats for sure).
Where can I buy orange wine? Have been searching high and low for orange wine and can’t seem to find a liquor store in Manhattan that carries it. Specifically looking...

Four Horsemen in Brooklyn serves it in abundance but if you’re looking for a liquor store I would check out Astor Wines.

Discovery Wines in Alphabet City/East Village. They have a lot of Eastern European wines and do have a great selection of Orange Wine
drjimmybrungus replied:
As /u/punkbananas suggested I would try Astor Wines, or if not there you might have luck with Chamber Street Wines or Frankly Wines. Those two are located very close to each other in Tribeca and often carry interesting wines so I'd bet they have some orange ones. If you're willing to travel a little bit you should also be able to find some available at Vine Wine in Wiliamsburg.
TheIcePalace replied:
I'm pretty sure Eataly's wine store has a couple orange wines.
tantricstrawberry replied:
Astor is a decent recommendation (as it is for most booze questions) but you should be heading to Chambers Street Wine Shop on Chambers and West Broadway. They specialize in low-intervention wines and will have a huge selection of orange wines. The staff is also super knowledgeable. Other well-curated wine shops that'll suit this purpose are Discovery Wines in Alphabet City and Wine Therapy on Elizabeth St
bsnyc replied:
Astor definitely has some: [orange wine!](http://www.astorwines.com/SearchResultsSingle.aspx?p=1&search=38399&searchtype=Contains)

Nolita Wine Merchants tends to have Radikon, Gravner and Sikele. The first two are allocated and Sikele became pretty hard to find so they don't get a lot, but they have a pretty consistent supply.

Any recommendations for liquor stores in Howard County that will deliver alcohol to our wedding venue and will be willing to let us return any unopened bottles?
Looking for a liquor store to buy alcohol from and that would buy back the unused bottles. If they deliver that would be a plus! We are getting married in Frederick...
