If they say it is, they are lying...That's about as simple as it gets. 1. You wouldn't want a 100% cashmere suit, 2% is the norm (I think). 2. I've never seen a tailor in BKK who is selling a genuine cashmere blend. That doesn't mean there isn't one, but I would be dubious. The 180's and 150's is something they simply sew on the bulkhead of the fabric. If the fabric is smooth, it's 99% chance it's polyester...Wool should have some texture and roughness. They should be able to show you this difference. If they are reputable, they will have a variety of fabrics and tell you the quantity of wool in it; 0%/10%/50%/80%/100% are the norms. Anything 50% up is fine. If they say all of their suits are 100%, I would be very dubious. I always go in as though I'm ignorant and see what they say. If they tell me all of their fabric is 180's/150's/120's & 100% wool, I walk out The one shop I trust is Damanino Bespoke on Soi 12. I don't know their prices, but you should be able to get a high quality 100% wool suit there or somewhere else for about 9 k.

I can highly recommend voguebkk.com. His name is Jerry, and my husband have 25 suits and many shirts made by him. He takes a lot of time to measure, fitting 2-3 times and the price is okay. We live in Bangkok, and will definitely not go anywhere else! You can tell him, I recommended him, then he will give you a better price! Good Luck!

Why not try Needle King Tailor they got a good variety. Between sukhumvit soi 10-12. Right beside the main road nearby BTS Asok. Not very big but good quality and service, No harm in checking it out. It's my friend place.

Hi Bark Mulch I would recommend against getting fitted in one day, you will end up paying for a custom made suit that doesn't necessarily fit you very well. You would need at least two fitting to have any chance of a reasonable fit and even then the de vil is in the details so Id recommend against that too. I had a high quality casual suit made by Marco Tailor at Siam Square. Imported Italian wrinkle-free linen/silk weave. He is a well known elderly Thai tailor who sews himself in-house. It took 2 weeks with 2 fittings.
