Not all US kids go back to school in August, lots go back after labor day (first Mon. in Sept.). So Sept. is a great time to go, still nice and hot. Stay somewhere like Homewood Suites (free breakfast and free shuttles to all parks). As Debby says anyone can buy a magic band and they will link your tickets up for you, but you don't need them, your ticket/card is fine:)
