For carpets I recommend Mahoney: http://www.yelp.com/biz/mahoneys-carpet-cleaning-rolling-meadows I have used them several times and they got rid of the pet vomit stains, and even the silly putty stain that two other carpet services could not remove. For Windows, I like Roman Window Cleaning 630-205-8974. I have been using them since '03 or so.
