You know what, as a suicide survivor (for that is what those of us who have lost a loved one to suicide are called) I found it really disappointing and very scary that the original post was removed. I mean someone reaches out for help and basically gets the hand. Not ok. Anyway, here are help sources and ideas from experience I have: Health insurance - call for emergency counseling. Is downtown Vancouver too far? There are so many different types of therapists, but you could try Ruth Rogers at Vancouver Integrative Counseling. I'm not sure if she's taking new patients, but I know she takes Medicaid.

Zara Clinic in Orchards. Not sure is they're open that late but had them done on Saturday. It's a naturopath clinic and massage. The clinic is open late.

Patti at The Purple Pear is AMAZING! I saw her for years when she worked at a different place, and I would occasionally see someone else if she wasn't available, but nobody compared to her. She's wonderful!
