We did ours a few years ago. We bought the supplies from Metal Depot in Conroe area and My husband and 2 friends installed it. I LOVE my metal roof!! All in all, supplies cost about $3,500.

To help you out better, a give or take break down: 30 yr shingles $90-$100/sq (Home Depot est around $30/bundle, 3 bundles = 1 sqft, if you buy shingles you can purchase at Home Depot or Lowe's and get a discount if you buy more than what the require) If you buy drip edge, felt paper, new flashing, and all vents add around $20-$30/sq Labor for shingles will run around $35-$45/ tear and install If you get a trash dumpster 30-40yrd it will run around $450-$650 to rent, if you need a permit it might run $50-$100 depending on percentage of what total, My advise, don't go to second hand stores to buy, research your contractor before hiring, ask city if your in a wind storm, that will determine nail pattern for installing.
