Oh I didn't realize that you were in central California. I was going to say that would be a great candidate for PEMF therapy.
That video is of Dr. Shoemaker explaining how PEMF therapy works and the machine I use, the P3.

It does have a weird feel to it but horses really do enjoy it. I worked on several yesterday that were sore and hadn't been treated since November. Even working on their SI area, they had a leg cocked up, head down and relaxing through the treatment. And this is why I chose to go with PEMF therapy over other modalities- of course I recommend more regular treatments because of the benefits but not everyone can afford to do weekly treatments, and I see fantastic results from horses kept on a monthly regimen. Even horses that have chronic SI inflammation and back soreness.

Los Laureles Equine does FES targeted area therapy (they also have vibe plates and water treadmill)... They work out of Windfall Farms (I think templeton farms too) ... The FES therapy is pretty cool
