For when you are not looking for a nice atmosphere, Shawarma Max, in BIG, is great. When you are looking for atmosphere, and you don't mind paying for it, there is Yakota, in the old city, for Moroccan food.

The Fringe Theater and the Goodman Acting Theater have many high quality interesting productions (and some that seem more like experiments or exercises). To my taste, much better than the offerings at the Beer-Sheva Theater.
